Terms & Conditions

Effective 14 July 2026 · Version 2026-07-14

1. Who we are

VIMOTION Storyboard ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Verisance Corporation Sdn Bhd. These Terms govern your use of our self-serve AI storyboard and video generation service (the "Service") at storyboard.vimotion.io.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

When you accept these Terms — for example by ticking the box at sign-up or at checkout — we record the date, time, and version of the Terms you accepted (this is version 2026-07-14). We may ask you to accept an updated version before you continue using the Service.

3. The service

The Service is a self-serve platform that lets you generate storyboards, reference images, scripts, and short videos with the assistance of AI models. You create the content; we provide the tools and orchestration. Features, models, and limits may change over time.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must meet the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction. One person or entity per account unless we agree otherwise.

5. Credits & billing

  • The Service runs on a one-time credit (top-up) system — there is no recurring subscription. Generations and renders consume credits.
  • Any signup, promotional, or redeem-code credits are promotional only, carry no cash value, and are non-refundable.
  • Paid credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Refunds of unused paid credits are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • Prices may change; changes do not affect credits already purchased.
  • Taxes. Prices are stated exclusive of taxes unless noted otherwise. Where we are legally required to charge Sales and Service Tax (SST) or other taxes, they will be shown at checkout. Need a tax invoice or e-Invoice? Email admin@vimotion.io with your details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • abuse, script, or automate the Service in a way that circumvents rate limits or quotas;
  • generate unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, child-exploitative, deceptive, or impersonating content, or deepfakes of real people without consent;
  • attempt to bypass watermarks, security controls, or usage limits;
  • resell or redistribute the Service itself without our written permission.

We apply rate limits to protect the Service and may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. AI-generated content & ownership

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable credits, you own the outputs you generate. AI outputs are provided "as is", may be inaccurate or similar to other outputs, and we do not guarantee their uniqueness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular or commercial purpose.

You are solely responsible for the inputs you provide (uploaded images, text, prompts) and for how you use the outputs. You represent and warrant that:

  • you own or are licensed to use all inputs, and they do not infringe any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
  • where any input or output features a real person's face, likeness, or voice, you have that person's explicit consent to create and use it (and, for minors, the consent of a parent or guardian);
  • you will not use the Service to create misleading deepfakes or to impersonate any person or organisation.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or demand arising out of your inputs, your outputs, or your use of them. We may remove content or suspend accounts we reasonably believe violate this section.

8. Advertising & marketing compliance

Many users create advertising and marketing content with the Service, including for regulated sectors — clinics, dental and aesthetic practices, healthcare providers, health supplements, and similar. In every case: you are the advertiser; we are only a tool. We do not review, approve, endorse, or place your advertising, and we are not your agency.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any advertisement or marketing communication you create with the Service — and every use, publication, and distribution of it — complies with all applicable laws, industry codes, and platform policies. This includes, without limitation:

  • the truthfulness and substantiation of every claim, testimonial, before-and-after depiction, price, and offer;
  • obtaining any prior approval required before publication — including, in Malaysia, an approval number issued by the Medicine Advertisements Board (a KKLIU number) under the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act 1956, where your content advertises medicines, treatments, procedures, or health-related services;
  • the rules of the authority or professional body that regulates you — for example the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), the Malaysian Medical Council (MDC), or the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) — and their equivalents in any other jurisdiction you publish in;
  • the advertising policies of the platforms you publish on (for example Meta, Google, TikTok, or YouTube).

Compliance aids are a convenience, not legal advice. We may offer optional features such as restricted-word checks, risk flags, or compliance hints. These are provided as a convenience only, on an "as is" basis. They are not legal, medical, or regulatory advice; they may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong; they do not guarantee that your content is lawful, approvable, or publishable; and a clean check, a passing result, or the absence of any warning is not our approval of your content. You must still verify compliance yourself and, where appropriate, obtain professional advice before publishing.

Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any fine, penalty, enforcement or regulatory action, claim, loss, or cost arising out of advertising or marketing content you create, publish, or distribute using the Service, or out of your failure to obtain an approval that was required.

Our rights. We may — but are under no obligation to — review, refuse to generate, withhold, remove, or take down any content we reasonably believe breaches this section, and we may suspend or terminate accounts accordingly. We do not undertake to monitor content, and nothing we do or do not do makes us the publisher of, or responsible for, your content.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, and the Vimotion name and marks remain our property or that of our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in them except the right to use the Service as permitted.

10. Third-party services

Generation is performed using third-party AI models and infrastructure. Your use of outputs may also be subject to those providers' terms. We do not guarantee continuous availability of any model or provider.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section) or non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, unused promotional credits are forfeited.

13. Changes, governing law & contact

We may update these Terms; changes take effect when posted, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to its courts. Questions: admin@vimotion.io.
